Oakdale Athletics Track, Caerphilly

Blakedown Sport and Play were successfully awarded this contract involving the design and build of a 6-lane athletics track and a natural infield.

The polymeric porous athletics track (SmarTrack) included a 100m sprint, hammer throws area and cage, high jump area, and javelin area.

A 4,500m² natural infield was added to the center of the field.

LEDs and fencing were installed throughout the entire area to ensure safety.
