Holy Trinity Academy

Blakedown Sport and Play were awarded a project to construct a new full-size 3G FIFA Quality pitch at Holy Trinity Academy in Telford.

The process began with an excavation to prepare the area of the pitch. The installation involved a comprehensive drainage system, geotextile membrane, subbase, macadam layer, and kerbs.

The Edel Grass Flashblade 60mm 3G Surface was then installed to meet FIFA Quality standards, which included sand and SBR performance infill. A variation of permanent and painted lines was then configured on the surface as per client requirements.

The project also included the installation of fencing, LED floodlighting, self-weighted goals, spectator areas, and a storage area/unit.
