Blakedown Sport and Play won the tender for the revitalization of a full-size 3G rugby pitch.

The extensive refurbishment encompassed several crucial tasks, beginning with the removal and disposal of the existing shock pad and 3G surface.

A new 20mm in-situ shock pad was installed, paired with a top-tier 60mm 3G (Dual Yarn) FIFA Quality Pro and World Rugby approved carpet, ensuring compliance with the highest standards.

The project also included precise line markings tailored for both rugby and football usage.

Additionally, Blakedown undertook associated works, such as replacing timber kickboards, providing essential sports equipment, and implementing a comprehensive maintenance package.
