Ribblesdale High School

Blakedown Sport & Play successfully delivered a sustainable 3G pitch upgrade at Ribblesdale High School in Clitheroe, replacing the ageing sand-dressed surface with a modern, high-performance facility for football and non-contact sports.

This project is the first in the UK to use Edel Grass’ Turf-to-Turf™ technology, enabling the entire surface to be fully recycled at the end of its life. By incorporating Edel Athmos carpet and Edel Xero backing, both made with recycled materials, the installation achieved a significant reduction in environmental impact while providing a durable, top-quality playing surface.
