Blakedown completed the construction of a full-size FIFA Quality Pro and World Rugby approved 3G pitch, with an adjacent full size natural grass football pitch and associated works.

For the 3G football pitch, construction started with the excavation, with all soil moved offsite. Installation of drainage, stone subbase and kerbs followed. Our in-house team then delivered a high- quality tarmac base. This was surfaced with a 20mm insitu shockpad and FIFA Quality and World Rugby approved 60mm 3G carpet.

Line markings for both football and rugby were installed followed by the sand and SBR infill.

Associated works included 20x3m storage area, rebound fencing and kickboards.

The natural grass pitch included the cultivation, grading and re-seeding to produce a high quality surface.
