Rutland Sports Park

Blakedown Sport & Play is proud to have delivered a comprehensive upgrade of the sports facilities at Rutland Sports Park, creating modern, high-quality spaces for sport and recreation.

The centrepiece of the project was the resurfacing of the all weather pitch, complete with a new shockpad layer and 40mm 3G carpet to improve safety, comfort, and performance. The upgraded pitch meets current performance standards, offering a durable, professional-quality playing surface for football.

Alongside the main pitch, Blakedown constructed a new sand-dressed Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), equipped with custom Blakedown Padbol nets to broaden the range of activities available.

To enhance security and usability, the project also included new perimeter fencing and upgraded floodlighting, ensuring the facilities are safe and accessible throughout the year, day or night.

With these improvements, Rutland Sports Park now offers a first-class sporting environment that supports participation for all ages and abilities.
