Blakedown Sport & Play were successfully awarded this contract involving the construction of multiple facilities, including both artificial and natural surfaces.

Specifically, our works consisted of –

• Construction of a 74.8m x 48m 3G Football & Rugby Pitch, surfaced with a FIFA Quality Pro and World Rugby approved 60mm 3G carpet onto a preformed shockpad. The pitch was fenced with a 3m high twin bar 8/6/8 rebound fence and a has a six-column floodlighting scheme.

• Construction of 2nr 36.6m x 21.35m Tarmac surfaced multi-use games areas, lined marked for Tennis, Netball and Basketball. The MUGA’s were both secured with a 3m high twin bar 8/6/8 rebound fence.

• Construction of a 97m x 61m Natural Grass Football Pitch, further Natural Grass Sprint Straight and Cricket Practice Area as well as a Polymeric Surfaced Long Jump Runway, with sand pit.
