Hounslow Heath Driving Range

Blakedown Sport & Play were successfully awarded this contract to deliver an artificially surfaced Driving Range measuring over 22,000m2.
We were provided with a soil formation, which we trimmed & rolled to the correct levels, gradients and tolerances as well as applying a non-residual herbicide treatment before continuing.

A geotextile membrane was laid onto this formation followed by a stone subbase, which was then surfaced with a high-quality sand filled carpet (with reduced sand infill to achieve the correct performance requirements).

The design of the carpet is vibrant and striking to ensure the target zones are visible, with each zone including a target pole required for the game technology offered when playing.
